The Munchkin and I got up at 4am (actually, zie was already awake -- zie decided to read zirself to sleep, and was still awake when I went out to wake zir) and walked to the BART by 5. We made it to the airport by 5:45, but it was not enough time. We were hustled (read: pulled out of line and told to RUN) to our 6:45 flight and barely made it. Bleah. Never again.

And yeah. Massive potatoes. Large. Hugemongous. The smallest one was a pound all by its lonesome. I didn't weigh the largest one, but I wish I'd taken a photo. The damn thing filled the plate.
