• 5am: awaken, get online, check the things I normally check
  
• 5:30am: see a friend's post about the tsunami, determine that no, we don't have to head for the hills here, but there is an advisory on, and by
  
• 6am: get in the car and go to the store to stock up on bottled water, water treatment tabs, canned food, toilet paper, etc.
  

I know we're not in any imminent danger from the tsunamis here, but I was awake and I just got paid, and now's always a good time to beef up the earthquake kit, right?
