Scheduling

I got my schedule for the upcoming radioactive-iodine (RAI) stuff; the upshot is I have to be home by the 21st.

21st: 1st thyrogen shot
22nd: 2nd thyrogen shot
23rd: Nuclear Medicine appointment (RAI pill) & blood tests (before or after)
24th: Whole body scan

(If they find anything, I have to go off my meds (yuck!) and have a treatment dose a couplefew weeks later. The treatment dose is the one that requires the week in isolation, etc. The pill on the 23rd just requires the kinds of precautions you'd use if you have a cold -- no fluid exchange, washing hands a lot, no spitting in the food, etc.)
