Work joy
Quick break at The Best Job Ever, where the great-grandboss (aka the Director of the program I work for) has written an introductory grant proposal for an exciting project that promotes disability access for students studying abroad, and he wants me to spearhead writing it. For more money (that is, hours/pay in addition to my normal salary, not as a part of my current workload). Because he thinks I have the skill and vision and advocate's heart to do the job.
It doesn't suck to be appreciated, I'll tell you that.
Okay, back to work. I've had my taters and my mocha, and now I have a zillion things to file while my grandboss is out of town.
