Last night, after the movie, I assumed the reason I was feeling kinda crappy was the junk I'd eaten all day. This morning, I figgered the same thing. Got to work at 8, and by 9:30, I was pretty sure I wasn't gonna make it. [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy sweetly hauled his butt out of bed and picked me up from work. I slept for the next four or five hours, and have been sleeping on and off all day. Not sure what the deal is, but I'm really tired, my heart is doing its weird thing (nothing dangerous; it skips beats sometimes), and I have this odd, new symptom: I get twinges of pain/weakness in my right shin. What. Ever. I'm ready to feel like myself again, thanks.

In better news, made yummy wheat-and-oat bread tonight, and I'll try something else for the party tomorrow if I'm up for it. Really truly hope I'm up for it.

Oh, and watched Grey's Anatomy for the first time. Not bad. Soap-opera-ish, but that's not always a death sentence for me. I'll give it a couple more episodes.

(SO so so tired of the rude-antisocial-bastard-is-SO-sexy trope, by the way. It's why I don't watch "House," and may be why I stop watching Grey's.)

I'm not usually attraced to same, but, damn, I love "House".

Hope you feel much better very soon. *hugs*

karev? (um. young, white, scruffy, v. short hair, probably seen a lot with the blonde in the pink dress) or someone else?

i haven't watched the season premiere yet; i've been having an exhausting week and grey's is all about the setting you up and wringing you out and catharsis is not indicated for me until after i get all this work done. besides, i'm afraid that denny will still be dead. waaa!

Which one do you consider the rude antisocial bastard? The only one I can think of (Karev, or however it's spelled) wasn't featured that much in the premiere. And I don't think most people think he's sexy--just a jerk. At least I do. Now, House--don't think he's sexy but love the show.

And Hi, hope you're feeling better. I lurk on your journal and never comment. I guess it says something about me that it takes a tv discussion to bring me out of the shadows.

hope you feel better!

I associate baking bread with Fall. The best smell in the world is bread baking in a house, no cha nge that is an apple with cinnamon, then bread..hehe.

I don't like House either. He is an arrogant bastard, and I don't like him, and just one case of medicine is boring to me. My daughter and her boyfriend love it and bought season one and two and lent it to us but we (hubby and I) could not get into it.

We caught one of Grey's Anatomy Second season episodes when they were repeating them and that enticed us to rent season one which was very small only nine episodes and we caught up fast on it but then when we rented season two it had something like twenty seven episodes and we did not get caught up on it before season three premiered.. So I am going to dvr season three and watch them together when we get caught up on season number two.

Oh, you've got mitral valve prolapse? I do too. Apparently like 1/3 of the world has that. It's apparently nothing to freak out about.

Freaks me out just the same, of course, because there's no fun about feeling your heart stutter, but it's nice to know.

Yay for sleep. {pets Serene}

I watch House still haven't figured out why though.I like Grey's anatomy I do agree it is very soap operaish. The first episode was so sad but sweet this season. I am so rooting for George and his new sweetie they are sooo YUM!

I haven't watched Gray's Anatomy, but I do like House. Sometimes I want to smack him, but knowing how much pain he's in, all the time, helps--and the bluntness and the brilliance are just hot. :)

As you know I watch both of them. My problem with House is he is *such* a sterotype of the embittered disabled guy. Yet I find myself watching it and liking it.

Grey's is a soap if you ask me. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm pretty bored with the Meredith-Dereck-Addison-and now Finn who loves who thing. I've enjoyed most of the subplots myself. I will admit to watching it a little for the eye candy especially Callie/Sara Ramirez, Christina/Sandra Oh and Izzy/Katherine Heigl.
