I've been so envious of my Bay Area friends who get seasonal organic produce delivered to their homes. Now I can do it, too!

I am having a bit of a down day, but this is such an encouraging thing to find.

Oh, well, only a couple of weeks till the local farmers' market opens for the season, and it's within walking distance of my house. ...

(Meanwhile, we're making do with arugula, herbs and tender baby lettuce from our own garden, grown organically by my sister, the horticulturist, under a makeshift row cover...)

By the way, I tried http://www.findyourspot.com , and of the 20 or so places it suggested, fully half were in Oregon/Washington.

I just tried that - and while it didn't turn up the town where I live (probably because of my cultural requirements), it did turn out the town where I work, which is just 12 miles down the road. Along with a ton of my other favorite Oregon towns.

Must be fate. Either that, or I've become acclimatized ...
