sereneLots of good stuff in the seven days I've been gone from home:
1) Hanging with my mom is really great
2) I'm able to be here to help with the kid, and it appears to actually be helping
3) Mythbusters! My mom even likes it, and she saw immediately how![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
someotherguy-ish Jamie and Adam are, without being prompted. :-)
4) One nice thing about rooming with a person who's addicted to grocery shopping, and who refuses to let me spend my own money, is that I can have any LID food I want, at any time, for free.
5) San Diego's beautiful. Brown, but beautiful.
6) Ummmm... yeah. That's all I got.
7) No, wait, there's a washer here. And a dryer. It's SO cool to be caught up on laundry all the time.
1) Combining oral surgery and LID may have been a bad idea. Most things I can eat aren't really soft enough to eat without hurting myself, so the number of things that overlap the LID and the mouth thing is small. Avocados. Ripe bananas. The middle of the bread. Popsicles.
2) I miss my home really badly.
3) I miss my partners and kid really badly.
4) My mom's house is a lot cleaner than it was when my sibling lived here, but there are still dirt and bugs in much greater quantities than I'm comfortable with.
5) My mom's boyfriend is nice enough, but he's here every day, and it's grating on me. I'm SO glad she has someone to be nice to her, but it adds some social-energy drain to my life that I don't really need right now.
