at work, trying to figure out what i'm allergic to. my ears and my mouth itch. it's march! it's 14f out! nothing has thawed yet! what could i *possibly* be allergic to that i wasn't allergic to two weeks ago? arrgh.
As far as my corporate job is concerned, I already TOOK a long weekend (missed Thursday and Friday), but it was anything but relaxing...doing 11 shows in 4 days was rather taxing on me. And this week I'm busy every single night with my next show. I plan on taking a "me" day or two after an important order goes through here.
I'm at working trying to do 5 days of work in 2 1/2, when all I really want to do it find a corner and take a nap. Last night was a short night. I slept about 2 1/2 hours then got up around 1 am. By the time everything was settled down and I fell asleep it was about 4:30 am and I was up by 6:30 am. Yawn, yawn, yawn.
But for lunch I will have a childhood favorite. I have a baloney and mustard sandwich that Betty made and I will get a bag of chips from the machine in the lunch room. Then I shall layer the chips in the sandwich and squash it down. To complete this, I might just have to buy a carton of milk.
I'm working from home, which means I slept in late and am now sitting on the couch in my pj's doing work. I love this work-from-home thing. I'm actually amazing productive, which surprised me.
I got to have lunch with a fellow writer, and we both felt it was very inspiring, but now I actually have to go slog away on my revisions. Luckily, it's too cold go out for a walk.
Visiting terriwells in South Florida (making a longer weekend out of it). Got Camry oil change this morning, then met her for lunch on her lunch hour. Looked at neighborhoods around cheaper condo's I've seen on realtor.com near her current job in case we need to consider her staying down here longer term instead of moving up to Central Florida to be with us (we are thinking about jointly investing in a condo larger than the 1/1 apartment that she's been renting so we could visit down here extensively and have our own bedroom/bathroom). With the depressed (and still falling) condo market, we are thinking that later this year might be a good time to buy down here if she can't find an equivalent job in our area by then.
