When I switched to a Vista machine, I didn't install AIM, because I disliked the way it likes to install stuff on your computer whether you like it or not. However, we're now using AIM for interoffice communications, so I thought I'd let y'all know that I'm now hooked in to yet another instant-messaging platform. Yeesh. :-)

Are you still using the actual AOL AIM software, or are you using a third-party client that handles all of these services? If the former, I recommend checking out something like Pidgin (formerly Gaim), which I think will happily handle all of those.
