Love letter to a fat man, via firecat.

(I don't know if my loves would be different people were they not fat, but they are fat, and some part of me believes that that informs their personalities in ways that make them good matches for me. Even if that's not true, I wouldn't change a single cell of either of them. They make my life so rich and joyful, in all their fleshy glory.)

Thanks for linking to this. It is a beautiful letter...and although I'm having a bout of insomnia tonight, I don't think I'm going to read the article that inspired it. I have a feeling it would keep me up later and since the rest of the house is asleep, I'd have no one to vent to.
