[1] What is your middle name? The same as my mother's first name. And my cousin's middle name. And my niece's first name. It's a family name.

[5] Do you have to drive over a bridge to get home? I don't usually drive. I don't walk over any bridges in my daily travels, though. Under a couple freeway overpasses, though.

[9] What do you do to get over a broken heart? Cry a lot. Withdraw a little. Obsess a lot. Let time take care of the rest. Eat trashy tacos. Eat either a whole hell of a lot or almost nothing at all.

[11] Does anything hurt on your body right now? My feet are a little sore. I did a lot of walking today.

[24] Do you have any mean friends? Hmm. The joking answer would be yes, many of my friends are Big Meanies(tm), but no. My friends are kind. Unkind/mean people don't stay my friends, no matter how entertaining they might be.

[26] Have you ever dated someone who all your friends couldn't stand? Well, not all, but many of my friends disliked my first boyfriend and my first wife a really lot.

[28] Have you ever contemplated suicide? Yes, but I wasn't very serious about it -- I was 13 and trying to figure out a way out of trouble I'd gotten myself into. I took some pills. They were probably my mom's hormone pills. I ran away from home for the night and ended up home by the wee hours.

[52] Who is your hero? I am fortunate enough to be able to identify many. Harriet Tubman was my first hero, though. I worshipped her when I was a child, and read everything I could find about her life. Every mention or sight of her still brings that period of my life back to me.

[54] Do you work a lot of hours? Yes. A few hours a day doing paid work, and at least that many doing homemaker stuff and writing and other work.

[58] Do you know where your family name originated from? I understand from my father that it means "From Noyen", which I've just googled and found out is a place in France.
