serene | Solstice party (Reply)

Solstice party plans proceed apace (this Friday, 7pm-midnight or later, my place). Some menu changes have occurred, because I found a hugemongous pork roast at Costco, so I'm gonna do pulled pork sandwiches on homemade buns, and skip the cold cuts.

wtfpotatoes says she'll help with food prep. The neighbor says she'll let us put some of the food overflow in her fridge.

I'm excited. It's been too long since we had a decent party where I could make a ton of food.

cold fried chicken
veggie kabobs with some sort of veggie protein (tofu or seitan or tempeh)
pulled pork and homemade rolls for sandwiches
corn on the cob
potato salad
macaroni salad
watermelon
lemonade
iced tea (sweet and un)
peach cobbler
homemade ice cream, several flavors
