A friend of mine (glitterophelia) works really really really really hard to support herself and her family (including two adorable kids), and it's harder and harder in this economy to do that. Anyway, she also makes and sells her own jewelry, and sells Cookie Lee jewelry, both to help make those ends come closer to meeting. I bought one of her pieces a while back, and I love it.
