California Politics -- a little bit of good news

At times, working for UC Berkeley means I'm The Man (when the school is displacing trees to put up sports stadiums, f'rinstance), but sometimes, it means I get to be proud. (I've heard the other UC schools are trying to get their chancellors to follow suit. I hope they do.)
