sereneHappy/fun things for today:
1) The costume I bought for MTE a few months ago finally arrived from China, in time for Halloween. Yay! He is SO excited! I'll stick a picture of it under the cut. He wore it to school today, that's how thrilled he was. This kid getshis my money's worth out of costumes. sogwife made for him a year and a half ago, he has already just about worn out.
2) My headache is gone. Headache was caused by my own stupidity (sleeping in a cold, uncomfortable place when I had other options), but pain I cause myself still hurts.
3) Real. Mexican. Food. Yayyyyyyyy! I had my favorite taco-shop food for breakfast, at my mother's insistence. Yum. Yum. Yummmmmm.
4) I'm gradually getting mom's kitchen organized, and cooking up some of her hoarded food so there's more room. Before I leave, I'd like to defrost the spare freezer, as well. It makes me happy to get some of the clutter taken care of.
5) It's nice having a washer and dryer in the house. I feel a little bad forsomeotherguy, who's home doing our own laundry by hand.
6) Asparagus for $1.29 a pound, and beautiful, big, red bell peppers three for a dollar. I love fresh veggies.
