So, loracs really didn't need my help with anything today, which is a good thing, but I wanted to help, and I kinda made her find something for me to help with.

And then I screwed it up. Badly.

I'm having trouble getting over myself about this. I think it's part of my self-identity that I'm a helpful person, and I went and made more work for someone instead of helping. I feel just terrible about it.

*sigh*

Oh, well. As my mother often says, this should be the worst thing that ever happens to me.

Oh honey, don't worry about it. It's not a big deal. Really. And you did help, bringing soup to the house and to the hospital. You always help in so many, many ways. Don't sweat the small stuff and in the grand scheme of things, this is small and not worth a drop of sweat on your cute, smart, funny and helpful little forehead.
