I long ago heard that spending more than 20 minutes reading a "women's" "fashion" magazine can lower one's self-esteem.
I believe it.
I now think that reading the online gossip rags (many of which are condensed on gossipfeed dot com) is in the same category.
when I happened to watch TMZ on TV and they were blathering about Jessica Simpson being "fat" the chunky guy who is on the show made an attempt to say "hey, what's wrong with someone who is bigger than a stick" (My words, not his) but he was also made to look like a buffoon.
