baerana posts this every week, and I keep meaning to get on the bandwagon. Now that I've got a little extra time, here goes. (Then I should, after doing this stuff, get to answering the huge backlog in the slush pile.)

Photo Friday

Every Friday, grab a random photo off your hard drive and post it






Friday is also National "Weekly Clean off your Desk Day" (in baeranaland, but she's working on worldwide legislation)

-gather up all the bits of paper, post-its, etc and enter them on your calender, PDA, computer, etc
-cross everything that takes less than 2 minutes to do off your to-do list (um, by doing it, not just by crossing it off)
-toss away unnecessary crap, unneeded printouts, extra copies, etc.
-process your mail
-only things you use every day should be on your desk top
-firm up next week's to-do list

Every day is photo Friday for me (though weekends turn out to be Hard because getting online at the farm kind of sucks).

I do this at work, but not at home. It would be good for me to have a day like that at home, too.
