Save the date: June 21

Because of the whole inconvenient cancer thing, I didn't even try to have a launch party for the magazine, but I really would like one, so I'm going to schedule it for the official release date of the Summer '09 issue, June 21st. Now I know that lots of my local friends have other plans on Solstice, and that's cool, but pencil us in for that afternoon if you can, for a combination launch party, reading, and service party. (That is, we will have a party (probably something like barbecue-cum-reading), and then those who want to can come along for a service project that will probably strongly resemble my sporadic Burrito Project.)

They promise me I'll have them Monday, which means I'll pack 'em Monday and ship 'em Tuesday. Late, sorry, but very exciting, and I'm already working on Summer, so it'll be early or at the very least on time. *bounce*

Oh, I wasn't feeling gotten on, but thanks. :-) When the woman called to ask if it could be Monday instead of today, I almost cried, but she sounded so so sorry that I couldn't say anything but "Yes, fine. It's a bummer, but these things happen."
