We spent all day -- seriously, all day -- emptying and cleaning the room, mopping and mopping and mopping the floor, first with pine-sol, then with bleach, then with water, until it was habitable in there. Then the pump failed again, so now we're holding back the flood with towels. If I were with someone who was less perfect and mellow, I'd be really discouraged right now. As it is, I'm just tired, and glad I'm not having to deal with it alone.

Thanks, honey, but I don't think the extra pair of hands would have helped enough to be worth the stress of having another body around. Thank you, though, truly. We had an odd sort of fun, to be honest; we took turns doing the scut work, and took lots of breaks.
