Okay, about to jump in the deep end, hippywise. The only shampoo I could find that didn't make my head a steaming mass of ouchiness has changed its formulation, so now that leaves me with two choices: stinky and medicated, or sweet-smelling and painful.

For me, it worked, but since it didn't lather I had a hard time getting all the pieces of hair cleaned. But it was noninvasive. Good luck!
