Thanks to firecat, I figured out how to make an Acme heart. Yay.

Spending the day doing virtually nothing. I love it and I hate it. The dishes need doing, so I'll do them. And then there's the laundry. Either do it or feel guilty for not doing it. Then ennui can set in just because these are my topics for thought today. How incredibly exciting this Poly Lifestyle is!

Eating vegan eggrolls (they call themselves spring rolls, but I'm sorry, spring rolls are wrapped in lettuce and made with different wrappers) and chatting desultorily on IRC. I guess what I really want to do is finish my book, which, while it's self-consciously full of "strong women characters," is still keeping my interest.

The peril of a public journal: sometimes it's just plain dull.

I think spring rolls are egg rolls without egg in the wrapper--and are a little lighter, but still fried. Summer rolls are cold, wrapped in lettuce with unfried rice wrappers. Is that right?
