sereneCurrent grades in my classes:
ASL: no score yet; midterm is on the 27th
Ethics: 18/20; midterm is on the 25th
Grammar: 30/30
Women & Leisure: 360/360
Women & Their Bodies: 12/12
School is so much easier for me the older I get, mainly because I get better at dragging my ass to school and doing the homework, whether or not I feel like it. I used to have the impulse control of a sociopath (the MMPI told me so); I am still super-impulsive, but I can sometimes come through for myself, and this makes me happy.

Date: 2011-10-20 02:12 pm (UTC)I found school much easier when I went back after a 13-year break. I think this was mostly because I really, truly, wanted to be there and wanted to learn the material, so I really stuck it out and never said "oh, this is good enough" about a half-assed job. I sometimes wonder if school isn't wasted on the young.
