(The baby steps are at this FlyLady link.) I'm adding "(and do 15 minutes of decluttering)" to every day's tasks, because until I get rid of the clutter, I'll never get on top of the cleaning.
Day One: Shine the sink
Day Two: Get dressed to lace-up shoes
Day Three: Added reading the FlyLady BigTent emails
Day Four: Write these things down on a sticky note and post them on your bathroom mirror and above your kitchen sink
Day Five: Write down negative things you're saying to yourself, then write down positive stuff to counter that
Day Six: Spend two minutes on a Hot Spot
Day Seven: Today we are going to add a new habit to our before-bed routine. Tonight, before you hop in bed, I want you to pick out what clothes you are going to wear tomorrow. You can lay them on a chair, on a shelf, or hook in the bathroom or on a hanger on your door knob.
Okay, I can manage that if I can remember. Now on to the next declutter task, which is going to be to set up the printer that we bought weeks ago and is still in the box.

I was sick yesterday, so I ended up going to bed before I could post this, but here it is:
Oh, but before the decluttering, I went through the previous day's stuff, and realized I need to spend two minutes on a Hot Spot. You may remember that the island was completely cleaned off yesterday. Well, this is how it looked today:

Clearly, this is something I need to keep on top of. But it didn't take the entire two minutes to clean it off, so I tackled the table, too, which looked like this:

So here they are after the two minute tidy:

And *then* I moved on to the declutter. The printer replaced our old one, but I also needed to clean up the area it was in. I didn't set the timer on this, but I'm pretty sure it took less than fifteen minutes to clean up the windowsill and put the new printer up there.

After:

And at the end of the day, I forgot to put out my clothes for today. *sigh* I'll try to remember tonight.
