Him: AND, I know that once the quarter's over, I say, "You know, you don't have to finish school if you don't want," and you say, "But-- but-- pencil cases! new notebooks! fun classes! nerdgasm!"

i do miss being in school sometimes :) i did taking an online course twice, but had to drop out both times because way too much of a workload on top of my regular workload.

Yes. One thing about formal education is that there's external motivation to actually keep going with it. Not that I don't learn things every day anyway, but I don't tend to really *study* stuff in quite the same way.
