Happy first Wednesday of Spring!

Took the day off today and ended up spending it mostly sick on the couch (besides picking the kids up at school). Getting a chance to read, though, and that's good.
Reading
Finished Turtles All the Way Down, by John Green. I have read most of Green's books, and I always like them, but never love them. This was no exception. However, I also have some affection for Green from watching his YouTube videos, and he writes like he speaks, so it just feels like a natural extension of my following him to read his books. YA is a fave genre for me, so when I find decent YA fiction, I tend to eventually read everything the author puts out, given the chance.
I will say I was grateful to Green for sharing his experience of mental illness through fiction. More of the experiences of disabled people should be widely published so we can be normalized within the public discourse.
Am in the middle of way too many books. This week, I'm going to try finishing everything before starting anything new.
Watching
On Netflix:
Watched Zumbo's Just Desserts, which isn't as good as GBBO, but has a similar vibe.
Watched half an episode of Nailed It, which was TERRIBLE and mean-spirited.
Finished rewatching Death In Paradise, and am looking forward to more episodes.
Watched one ep of Ugly Delicious, which was a bit precious for us.
Watched GBBO Master Class, which was fun mainly because James found the relationship between Paul and Mary so adorable that they made him giggle.
On disc:
Got a great deal on the complete Columbo, so we've been rewatching it.
On YouTube:
Took a several-month break from YouTube, and now I'm back to watching cooking shows and Colbert from time to time, along with some slam poetry, some vlogbrothers, and a few other things.
Listening
Not much. Got Munchkin The Elder into playing my radio game with me, the one where I scan through until I find music and then listen to it, to get some variety into my musical diet. He tends to know most of the songs already.
Playing
Decided to try some new puzzle games recently. Liking Tents and Trees (or is it Trees and Tents). Found Trivialist just okay. Added and deleted several forgettable ones. Looking for recommendations of good puzzle games available either as a browser or Google Play game. It doesn't have to be free.
