Thanks. So weird. Turns out they give trauma patients aliases (presumably to make sure that someone who might WANT to cause them trauma can't find them), so they had her there, but not under her own name. Frustrating.

*nod* I understand it, but it's frustrating when someone you love is in the hospital after a fairly minor car wreck, and there's no way to get to her.

I'm relieved that she's okay. I was worried when you first posted that she'd been in a car accident, but thank heavens it wasn't too serious.

[livejournal.com profile] someotherguy's hospital saga serves as an interesting reminder, however, that for all the media uproar about how screwed up the Canadian health care system is, it's not just us.
