Leg 4 of 6 (?) of AJWT2002

It's far too early and I was up far too late, so forgive me if I'm incoherent.

Had dinner and dessert with Joe last night. As I expected, he was perfectly charming and agreeable-in-the-extreme. I talked a mile a minute, as I usually do when meeting new people, and we spent a lot of time talking about people we know in common, including masses of his sweeties and ex-sweeties. :-) And I only lost us once and the car once, so that was good.

Thai food was scarfed, [pear|raspberry] sorbet was eaten and/or spilled, and bookshop was browsed. A good time was had by all^H^H^Hboth.

*yawnstretch* I really gotta start going to bed earlier.

I love tea, but I know it's really about the drugs, because I only really drink the stuff when I'm dead tired (like today). Nearly zonked out at my desk, and knew I needed a jolt. I start picking up the second I take the first sip, so there's also some pavlovian stuff going on, too. Nice to know I still have at least one (fairly benign) addiction left.
