I am going to miss my job. Plenty of times in the last few months, I've said "I don't want to get up out of this bed and leave you to go to work," but I've never said "I don't want to go to that job." I *liked* my job, and they people, and they liked me, and I wish we could have figured out a way for me to stay, even part-time. Bah.

Really good day. In slightly adjusted chronological order, I lazed around in the morning, ate mom's spaghetti for breakfast, spent the day with stonebender (who bought me my new work shoes!), watched the second West Wing in a row that makes me think I'm going to like this show again, ate more spaghetti for dinner, made punkin pie, had someotherguy and sogwife's company in letting the neighbors' cat in (I don't like going out in the dark by myself), and came home to a house that had been not only cleaned, but decorated for Hallowe'en/Samhain by sogwife (see her journal for pics of the way-cute jack-o-lantern she carved). Do I have a good family, or what?
