Friday Thing cancelled for the summer

We love having company, but so much else is going on right now that we're taking an extended break from our weekly things. We will still have parties, because that's what we do, but they'll be less frequent.

Also, my computer is dead, and I don't have access to my address book, so if there is anyone you can think of who needs to know this, please pass it on.

Good stuff:

• my family rocks at working through (if not always resolving) difficult issues and still staying loving and kind
• the people in my life work really hard at giving me what I need, even if I feel it's something I shouldn't ask for
• dryadgrl is finally done with school for the semester!
• a relative who's been being shat on for years finally grew a spine
• day two and I still love my job. The people are SO friendly, and the work is a lot of fun, even though I would love it if there were more to do (I should be careful what I wish for).
• my computer consented to boot tonight (it's dying, but it gave me an evening's reprieve at the end of a long, hard day, and I thank it)

The good stuff, and the good people in my life, are still there even when a day is hard. I am so grateful that it's true, and so grateful that I can remember it.
