So, due to various things, both in and out of my control,dryadgrl and I are postponing the big joint birthday party thingy until at least October.
However.
Next Tuesday is still my birthday, and I would still love to see folks on Saturday to celebrate me me me. So if you want to come to my house for dinner and/or schmoozing and/or games, please do. If you know where I live, just show up any time after 6. If you don't know where I live, write and RSVP so I can give you directions to the Hobbit Hole. (RSVP is welcome either way, but not necessary.) Crash space is available. If you arrive before 6, be prepared to help prepare dinner. Otherwise, just come when you can.
I know it's short notice, so don't worry if it doesn't fit in with your plans. I'm taking a mellow weekend (Friday-through-Sunday) off work (all four jobs), so I'm likely to just sit at home that evening and hang out with my loves and whoever shows up. A real low-pressure evening, I'm thinking.
