Thanks to everyone who posted your happy happenings. It was lovely to read them all.

Today, I am exhausted. This makes sense, since working six days in a row (60 hours total) is more than my little body and brain does easily. I didn't go to the poetry reading (it's not my night to host, but I had intended to go anyway to support the scene and the folks doing it). I went to both jobs, bought some stuff at Ikea, came home, had a shower, and have been sitting here like a lump for 30 minutes or so.

And now I shall go to bed. It's before 8pm, but I'm just plain out of oomph. I am oomphless. I am a formerly-oomphed human being.

Three days off. Tomorrow, a visit up north with sogwife. Saturday, a day of puttering and dinner with whoever decides to come over. Sunday, a day in Berkeley with stonebender. More social stuff than I actually feel like considering at the moment, but I'm sure I'll be ready for it after a long night's rest.

cheese feast thanks to tenacious_snail, who also brought us cinnamon chocolate, the only kind of chocolate I really like, besides chocolate milk.
