(no subject)

I feel all eeyore-ish, all nothing-goes-right-ish, and I know it's not true. But the munchkin caught some kind of crud (probably on the airplane) and now I have it, too, and the folks who were gonna go play DDR with us tonight shouldn't come and get all germy, and now I gotta break it to the kid, who knows it's a possibility, but was looking forward to it for a long time. I know I'm a really good aunt, but I don't feel like one right now.

But I had fun last night, the work thing is mostly worked out, and I made a kick-ass Professor Chaos costume, so all is not lost.

If anyone is willing to go to the Cerrito Speakeasy Theater (http://www.picturepubpizza.com )for me at 3pm today and buy 4 tickets for their Oscar party (and tell them that two of our party members will be using wheelchairs), then you can have the fourth ticket for free. Any takers? (The tix are $15 each, so you would need to either front me the $60, or stop by and get it from me.)

Thanks, everyone. Everyone who came over or wrote or called and comforted
me. I'm feeling a lot better (emotionally, anyway -- physically, I'm at
the beginning of a cold, but that's not the end of the world).

Gonna go to the Oscar
party at the Cerrito. It'll be my first Oscars in years for which I
haven't thrown my own party, but it sounds like it'll be fun. If they
still have tickets, you should get some and join us!

Tomorrow is another day. This week will be full of work work work, and
I'll try to keep up here, but it's doubtful. Meanwhile, know I feel
grateful for all of you.
