Jun. 1st, 2007 11:30 amFrom the
altfriday5:
1. Do you feel you're appropriately paid for what you do? If not, are you overpaid or underpaid?
I am underpaid, but I chose that. My work impacts my household's income -- if I do my work well,
someotherguy gets paid enough more than my income is incidental to the total.
2. Do you budget? If so, how long is your budget period? If not, why not?
I don't budget. I have never had any success at it.
3. How difficult do you find it to stick to your budget, or to your available cash if you don't?
So difficult. It will surprise no one to find that it was easier when my monthly expenses weren't so very close to the total amount I get paid.
4. Would you do your job if you didn't get paid for it??
No, I wouldn't, but even more important, I wouldn't do it if I didn't get health insurance with it.
5. What would you do if your wage were suddenly doubled?
Just continue the way I'm going. If my wage were suddenly doubled, it would be up around where it was a year ago. I probably wouldn't have to ask my mom for money quite as often.
Bizarro Questioner says: Forget your links! (i.e., don't forget them, in non-Bizarro talk!)

Jun. 1st, 2007 11:33 amI asked the following question of
stonebender just now, and I'll ask y'all, too:
The insurance company is denying the thyroid stuff until I've been with them 6 months (that will be October 1st). Trying to decide whether to just try to pay for the biopsy myself, or wait until October. I've waited 3 years already. 4 more months probably won't make much difference, especially since the thyroid guy thinks it's benign. What do you think?
