Bullet points, but this journal style messes up bullets

Got up at 7:30 after going to bed at 2:30 because Munchkin The Elder called me in the middle of a fight with his mom. I may have convinced him to go to school and deal with it later, but I'm not sure. He didn't go to school, and there's big drama because his sister won't go, either. As always, I told my mom I would come down and help with the kids, but only if their mom is not there. She's threatening to leave for the zillionth time. If it happens, I'll let you know, or you can just watch for flying pigs.

I've been offered some ongoing part-time work. I'm conflicted. It's about half the rate of my usual contract gigs, and it may end up being more of a time commitment than I can comfortably do and still do my day job. Hmmm. Ponder, ponder, ponder.

Today, I can finally make the appointment to get my thyroid tumor biopsied. Some of you will have some idea how exciting this is.
