Today's good news: My thyroid surgeon says I'm doing great. He will monitor my levels, but doesn't need to see me again until May. Also, my tummy has mostly calmed down.

Today's bad news: My mom's in the ER. She's been weak for two days, and today she has the dry heaves. I cannot express how much I wish she would stop being sick and just get a chance to rest and be well.

Also, today, I'm feeling sad about the fact that I'll be missing an event in Las Vegas in February at which will be many of my favorite people. I'll be fine and all, but it makes me sad sometimes.

Slept all day, so I'm having trouble getting myself to go to sleep. Clearly, I need to answer some silly survey that's completely meaningless, right? Thanks, micheinnz. ;-)
