100% of the UC Berkeley LUNAFEST proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and Women Programs at the Gender Equity Resource Center!

LUNAFEST is a national traveling film festival of short films made by, for, and about women.

Running from October to March, the festival is shown in more than 100 venues nationwide, reaching over 20,000 viewers. LUNAFEST films have won industry awards and audience accolades, and the films selected share this brilliance. From quirky animation to touching documentaries, the selected films are incredibly diverse in both style and subject matter, united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling by…for…about women.

When I think of international-sports-fandom, I usually think of black_pearl_10, but I know there are more of you on my friendslist (rmjwell? Hmm, who else? I do tend to skim such posts, I admit).
