So don't click the link if you're on dialup or otherwise don't want to see two fairly big images side by side, but between deciding to learn to use a real graphics program to edit my cover, and taking all y'all's advice, I think I made a pretty huge improvement in the magazine cover. The colors are MUCH better, in my opinion. Let me know if you can see it, too.

At midnight last night, three of us had stomach cramps (bug? poison?), and I was on a very tough IM with Munchkin The Elder while battling the last of my cramps, until around 1am. I emailed in sick before going to bed, because I am a smart Serene who knows better than to try to get up at 6:30 after such a night.
