News from the isolation room

Home safe -- well, not SAFE as in you can get near me, but I'm safe. :-) Poor someotherguy had to drive in an unfamiliar, standard-transmission car (thanks, sogwife!) to get me, and he's stressed to the max, but otherwise, things are going well.

The big dose was a little pill (I hadn't known beforehand whether it was a drink, an injection, or what), and everything went without incident. I even forgot to take a book, so I survived the walk to the hospital. :-)

someotherguy kindly set me up on his laptop with a wireless card, so I'm online, but not on my own computer yet, with my saved mail and such. This may be my chance to catch up on reading, TV, and stuff.

Anyway, hello, I'm radioactive. :-)

Oh, and the kid made me pasta, and she brought me my massive glass of water with a little "I ♥ U" and two loving smiley faces on it.

Without the support system I have, I'd manage. WITH it? I'm golden.

Sandwich of love I have a really good kid. She made me pasta for lunch, and this is my dinner. I don't actually need people to cook for me (I just can't cook for others), but it sure is nice being taken care of anyway. :-)

Oh, and I can't believe I neglected to say this earlier:

NO Metastases. (on the whole-body scan, that is. They'll do another scan next week with the bigger dose still in me, but so far, it's looking really good)
