pegkerr helps me remember every day to try to decrease worldsuck, and she does it during a time when she's facing some enormous challenges in her life.

Some fuckers stole her kids' bikes. Anyone want to help me buy them new ones?

(I haven't checked with Peg to see if this is okay; I assume she'll let me decrease worldsuck in this way, following her example.)

$90 so far for Peg's kids' replacement bikes. I have no idea what replacement bikes will cost, but I've asked Peg. Thanks to those who have contributed so far, and if you have a dollar or more to spare, please help out. (Don't spend the rent money or anything, but thanks so much to those who have a little extra this month; I know it's been hard times all around.)

So what do y'all think? Shall we stop collecting bike money? We're at $500 or so. That sounds like enough to buy two nice kids' bikes to me, but I don't know much about these things. What say you? Yea or nay?
