(no subject)

So, if you or your company has been thinking about getting some web-design or e-commerce help, please let me or someotherguy know. The company he works for is small and ethical and family-run, and having a hard time in this economy, but if we can help pull in some business over the next month or two while some other contracts are settled, someotherguy may keep his job. That would be a really really really good thing.

Suckage

So, now that everyone has talked about their part of the suckage, I can say more about it. You are NOT being a bad friend if you don't feel up to clicking on the link and reading the litany:

And of course, there is still joy and beauty, because joy and beauty are as tenacious as fear and sorrow. My new piano is a blissful addition to my home; my kid is going to take a college-level art class next month; the second issue of the magazine is really going to happen, after I had really feared it might not; my family just fairly bursts with love and regard for each other; and you, my friends, are here when I need you. I hope I can be there for you when you need me, too.
