Home from San Diego. It was good to see my mom. Really good. It was also difficult in all the ways a trip away from home is usually difficult, and a couple other ways, none of which I want to talk about in public. At least mom was relatively healthy, so we had time to just spend together that wasn't in a hospital. Plus, mom is seeing someone, which I think is wonderful. He used to teach at my high school (where mom has worked for most of the last 30 years), and seems nice. They're taking their first road trip together today. I hope she has fun.

Today, I'm tired of being a daughter and a parent and so on. I just wanna putter around my house and keep this headache at bay. Hope your weekend was wonderful. I'd love to hear about it. (I'll be reading my DW/LJ/FB lists, but hey, if you feel like telling me here, in addition or instead, I'm listening.)
