Mom talked me into calling kaiser. They apparently do phone triage on weekends, so the doc will call around 10:20. Time to see why my throat isn't getting better. Next up: soup and a nap. How's YOUR weekend so far?

Doc says sounds like it's just the crud. He's prescribing heavy-duty cough pills and rest and says if there's no fever just give it time. Relief. I need to be well by Wednesday.
