Exciting news!

My project was re-funded!!!! The budget crisis means this was by no means certain, and that we are months late on getting this news. In fact, I've been working all week not knowing where the money was going to come from. But we got our grant! (I helped put the grant together, so I'm both relieved and proud. We worked HARD on this.)

Me: "So now that I don't have cancer and I have a job for the next 5 years and a raise... I may finish my Bachelors [sic]."

Him: "No bachelors for you until you finish your married men!"
