At the moment, where I am, in San Diego, at 9 in the morning, it's gray and coolish, but not cold. How long are you going to be in SF? I'm gonna be there the 14th/15th, and we're doing a lunch thing on the 14th, but I imagine you'll be gone by then?
My flight is at 16:30 on 14th, so I have to check in at SFO at 14:30, so I'll need to leave at what, 1.30pm? But maybe we could make an early lunch before that? Or just a pre-lunch coffee? It would be so cool even just to say hi.
It would need to be very central/downtown because I won't have a car.
it's not that hot where i am; aamof i'm sufficiently cold i'm wearing my coat in the office and shivering slightly. my problem's been the pollen although thankfully it's somewhat better today. yesterday i spent most of drugged up on so many different antihistamines that i was nearly asleep all day.
I had planned to be getting into town just in time to drive with stonebender (and, perhaps, someotherguy and sogwife) to the restaurant for lunch. If I end up driving up alone, I'll leave earlier and we can have coffee or even breakfast. Wanna?
My hotel's website reckons it's only half an hour to SFO so I'll only need to leave at 2pm. When can you let me know? (Saturday am would probably be OK, and I expect to have email/LJ access while I'm there)
My hotel's on Mason street, so that's where I have to be by 2pm to pick up my luggage and head for the airport.
Great! I'll post my full travel journal when I've finished editing it.
I had Saturday lunch at a place called the Elephant Bar with my friend Jeff and [Bad username or site: ocean_song' / @ livejournal.com] who very kindly gave me a lift to SFO.
