Chili/cheese bugles.

Dipped in red-pepper hummus.

Don't hate me.

God, it's so yummy.

You can have some of mine, but if you're not here in ten minutes, I'll probably have to go out and get us some more.

I hope you won't mind having to get us more; I'm afraid my teleporter's not working at the moment.

Try this

*Waaaah*, I just threw out some red-pepper hummus this morning because it was moldy.

I'm content enough now with my bowl of spicy broccoli and cashews and so on, though.

Wassa bugle?

All sounds very good, though.

That sounds so much tastier than some of the things I remember my father making - peanut butter and green onion sandwiches spring immediately to mind. *shudder*

Wassa bugle?

A hunters' instrument, isn't it? Serene apparently has a very sturdy stomach.

SCNR.

For you, dear, I would make my very own roasted-garlic hummus, with olive oil an paprika on top. Mmm.

Hmm. I like peanut butter and green onions together in Thai peanut sauce, but yeah, that's probably yucky. :-)

(I do like peanut butter and miracle whip, however, so I'm not the one to ask.)

Bugles (http://www.taquitos.net/snacks.php?snack_code=1887) are a corn-chip-like snack food that come in several flavors. Original is good; barbecue is loathsome; chili-cheese is best dipped in hummus. :-)

Okey-dokey. And I want you to know that [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy and I have discussed it, and if I don't make it to alt.polycon (it's not looking good, but I'm not giving up hope), I'm not making *any* travel plans before I've seen you. It's been decided.

Heh, my sister used to like jam and miracle whip. Not sure whether it was strawberry or raspberry, or whether that mattered. Also not sure whether she still likes it.

Actually, chocolate and red chile go together surprisingly well. I picked up some awesome cocoa-chile candies last time I was in NM. Its kind of fun to give them to people without telling them what they are (they have the flavor of red chile, but aren't really hot. I'm a prankster, but usually not cruel) and watch them try to figure out what that "other flavor" is. Most people out here wouldn't even try them if they knew what they are first.

Chocolate and chili is pretty common here in the Southwest US, but I have a thing about peanut butter -- but I'll try almost anything.
