A day

Just 'cause we could (we had the car unexpectedly), stonebender and I went to San Jose to people-watch at Baycon and say hi to the dozen or so friends and acquaintances we ran into. It was fun. A little three-hour adventure that did us both good. Then we went and saw "Saved." Fun, fun movie, with a wonderful cast and so many laughs that we missed some of the dialogue. The ending was weak, I think, but still. Fun. Stopped at home for a quick drive-by smooching on the way home from the movie. So good to see someotherguy, if only for a minute, literally.

Then a couple of episodes of The West Wing. Between that and the two movies we saw yesterday (did I mention that we saw "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Van Helsing"?), I feel like my pop culture gauge is on "Full".

Had a wonderful weekend. Feeling refreshed and ready to head home tomorrow to prepare for my workweek. Sure happy to have the people in my life that I have. I'm really, truly lucky.

I'm dying to see, "Saved"! Glad to read that you liked it and that you had such a good weekend. An old friend is coming to town this next week and we plan to stop by and watch your poetry event next Wednesday. Will you be there?
