The Polyflock was wonderful. Got to see so many people, some for the first time. The weather was beyond perfect, I had all my partners with me, and things were casual, easy, and fun.

Day 1 was a few hours in the evening. I got to: squee at [livejournal.com profile] leback; trade clothes (again!) with [livejournal.com profile] wild_irises (thank you, sweet thing -- swimming was just exactly what I wanted at that moment); eat lots of good snack food (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] rmjwell and RA for the great suite); have good drive time there and back with all my partners, who make me so very happy; and meet several people I hadn't met before (I won't even try to list them all, because I'll forget someone important. I always forget someone important).

Day 2 was all day yesterday. After a long morning of lounging around, um-yeah-ing, eating, and more lounging around, the beautiful [livejournal.com profile] sogwife and I picked up [livejournal.com profile] stonebender; [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy stayed home to work.

It's silly, maybe, but I had such a good time partly because we did tons of *nothing*. [livejournal.com profile] stonebender and I mostly sat in the shade schmoozing and peoplewatching, and not much of anything else. Folks came by to sit in the shade with us. I swam a little bit. [livejournal.com profile] sogwife swam a lot and got some smooches from someone who was not me. ;-) She also played the Game of Real Life(tm), which sounded really fun and boisterous from where I was sitting. I got lots of smooches from my sweeties and took a sweet, romantic walk with [livejournal.com profile] stonebender. Also, I got flirted with (very sweetly) by a complete stranger. More nothing was done, and then some more. Ate a little food, made a little conversation. Very nice.

Took [livejournal.com profile] stonebender home around dinner time and called to see if [livejournal.com profile] someotherguy was over being home alone. He cooked some food while I headed out to get him, and I ate in the car while he drove us back to the flock. Once there, we gave some food to [livejournal.com profile] sogwife, schmoozed some more, and then watched "Orgasmo", a hilariously bad movie by the South Park guys. Then back to the flocksuite, where we spent what was probably hours gossipping with [livejournal.com profile] rmjwell, [livejournal.com profile] wild_irises, [livejournal.com profile] alanbostick, and [livejournal.com profile] kshandra. By that time, it was 1am, and we decided to call it a flock. Now we're home, with not enough sleep, but I'm happy. I had a wonderful time. I'm skipping Day 3, mainly because I don't think I'm up for all that driving today, but it was great.

[livejournal.com profile] rmjwell and RA, thanks for such a good time.

BTW may I have your permission to post links to this write-up for folks who are curious about how the Flock went?

Of course, and for future reference (though I don't expect anyone to remember this), links/quotes to whatever I write are fine at all times.
