sereneAn hour or two ago, I got suddenly sleepy, so I took to the sofa with some pillows, a blanket, and a copy of Red Mars. Fell asleep, of course, and now I'm all foggy and half-awake.
Good day. It's become a weekendly habit for us to walk to the flea market and then to the Berkeley Bowl, and I like it a lot. Worked on my walkabout collage -- it's so cool, and I'll try to remember to post pictures. Started the Debt Door (another collage, but less so -- basically, it's a pastiche of all the credit-card offers we haven't applied for since we moved here). Cooked three wholesome meals. Washed dishes. Sorted through papers. Found my directions for my first day of work. stonebender. Revelled in my first day with no serious pain. Checked my mail a lot. Just stuff, but sweet and domestic, and I loved it. Now to type up the invitation/announcement for Thanksgiving, and keep handing out Tootsie Pops at the door. Happy Halloween!
