Jan. 9th, 2005 05:57 amWas wandering around blogspot, and found some good stuff:
Widow Hawkins, a touching blog of a man who just lost his partner of 15+ years. Maybe I'm a ghoul, but seeing someone deal in a healthy way with deep grief is life-affirming to me. The post I read first is about what to do with their rings.
Of tights and seams, the blog of a Jewish teenager who is contemplating things like pain and sexism.
The Marj Memoirs, with a couple of good stories about her travels to Mexico at the top. I'll look into it more later.

Date: 2005-01-09 06:28 pm (UTC)A widow wearing both rings is a common tradition. I have seen men and women doing it. I never considered if they were welded together.
Thanks for the story.

Date: 2005-01-11 02:12 am (UTC)I am searching for your cellphone number, which I do have, but it's hiding. Would tomorrow afternoon work for me to pick up the desk? If so, could you either leave it out or tell me what time to come by? Carol is letting me borrow the van. Thanks!
