Was wandering around blogspot, and found some good stuff:

Widow Hawkins, a touching blog of a man who just lost his partner of 15+ years. Maybe I'm a ghoul, but seeing someone deal in a healthy way with deep grief is life-affirming to me. The post I read first is about what to do with their rings.

Of tights and seams, the blog of a Jewish teenager who is contemplating things like pain and sexism.

The Marj Memoirs, with a couple of good stories about her travels to Mexico at the top. I'll look into it more later.

I can't comment in Hawkins' BLOG, but I can comment here:
A widow wearing both rings is a common tradition. I have seen men and women doing it. I never considered if they were welded together.

I missed it, too (missed my train and didn't have the energy to try the drive).
